Rendez-Vous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta – Race 3. When the Rendez-Vous Regatta comes to Bermuda the old charm of Britain and the innovative energy of catamaran racing will synergize magically. In June 2017 the island is redefined as the sailing capital of the Atlantic: at the same time it will be hosting the RdV Regatta and the 35th America’s Cup, presented by Louis Vuitton. Bermuda is a regular participant in Tall Ships events, having hosted such regattas five times before, so expect the highest quality celebration. After enjoying the sailing atmosphere you will race other Tall Ships from Bermuda to Boston where another celebration will take place. Organized in conjunction with Tall Ships America, Boston is delighted to welcome the fleet to the United States following their last visit back in 2009. On completing the third race leg from Bermuda vessels will dock in the Seaport District and at the historic wharfs of the North End. In Boston you will join the Parade of Sail in at the 17th of june and the ship will enter the harbour between 15:00-17:00 hour. Open for all ages, minimum age 15 years. Prenight possible in Bermuda. 60 EUR p.p.p.n.

Bermuda is a group of low-forming volcanoes in the North Atlantic Ocean, consisting of 181 islands. The first known European explorer to reach Bermuda was Spanish sea captain Juan de Bermúdez in 1503, after whom the islands are named. Bermuda's culture is a mix of Native American, Spanish-Caribbean, English, Irish, and Scots. It is a British Overseas Territory. Bermuda has a humid subtropical climate, pink sand beaches and clear, cerulean blue ocean water. Go snorkeling to see the coral reef.

Boston is the capital of the Massachusetts state, well-known for its excellent universities: Harvard and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. But there is more to Boston than education! Visit the Fenway Park sports complex or one of the many museums in town. The beautiful waterfront invites for a stroll and, once you're there, don't miss visiting the Tea Party Ship replica.
