Eye of the Wind:
Oostende (BE) - Elsfleth (DE)

13 April - 17 April 2017

Enjoy Easter on board of the Eye of the Wind. Sail from Oostende in Flanders, Belgium, to the German Elsfleth. Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Oostende is a seaport and tourist destination on the Belgian coast. The original belle époque architecture was largely destroyed by two world wars (and the advent of mass tourism), but the city still has plenty of worthwhile sights to see, such as the Mu.ZEE, the Petrus and Paulus church, and the fort Napolean. Visit one of the museums, check out the lively cultural agenda, and step in a Belgian tavern for a ‘pinteke’. And don’t forget the beach, which can be crowded in the summer!

Elsfleth is a small town in Lower Saxony, Germany. The town has many maritime traditions, the evidence of which you may find visiting the tall ship club "Großherzogin Elisabeth", sailing club "SWE" and a school of navigation.
