A relaxed coastal sailing cruise on tall ship Morgenster. Step on board in the historic Spanish city of A Coruña and discover the beauty of the Atlantic coastline as you make your way north to the picturesque French harbour of Port Blanc. Every day will bring new scenery, peaceful anchorages, welcoming fishing villages, and the freedom to let nature guide your route. While under sail, you’ll become part of the crew by helping to hoist sails, take the helm, keep watch, or simply relax on deck and enjoy watching the sun set over the horizon. This journey combines authentic seamanship with time ashore to discover local culture, cuisine, and coastal landscapes. Whether you’re an experienced sailor or stepping aboard for the first time, you will experience an ideal balance between adventure and relaxation.
Please be aware that this is not a youth journey. Anyone aged 15-70 is welcome on board, but we expect the majority of trainees to be adults.

Ports

A Coruña is a port town in the north west of Spain. Here you will find the Tower of Hercules, a lighthouse that has been in operation for 1.800 years! The town itself is an affluent commercial and tourism hub, with plenty of things to see and do. Visit the popular beaches, explore the city centre, or sample some of the many cultural activities. The Aquarium Finisterrae lets you explore the marine life of the region. But if you prefer your fish on a plate, A Coruña’s restaurants can help you out.

Port-Blanc is a small village in the department Côtes-d’Armor, on the North coast of Brittany. It is said to have one of the most beautiful coasts in the region. For history, visit the traditional Britain chapel, made of stones and semi-buried. Enjoy the view of the small islands nearby, the seascape and the breathtaking coast of Granit Rose. And if you like to keep active, go hiking near the coast, on the Les Douaniers path, among the beautiful fragrance of local flowers.

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

 

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end.
