You will arrive on Morgenster before diner, meet crew and other guests. Together you will go through some instructions to get you familiarized with the vessel, leaving the evening free to take a walk in Castellon. After a good night’s sleep, you will depart and set the sails for the first time. Over the next few ways you will sail in a 3 watch system over the deep blue Mediterranean Sea, before reaching your destination in southern France.
Open to all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Castellon is a region in eastern Spain, with the capital in Castellón de la Plana. Situated on the Mediterranean coast, it offers beautiful beaches, and historical locations. The region is bi-lingual, with both Spanish and Valencian being used as official languages, making for an interesting meeting of cultures.

Port-Vendres is a fishing port on the Mediterranean coast of France, next to the Spanish border. This town of only 5,000 inhabitants is famous for its fish and seafood restaurants which you should visit for a lovely meal with a seaside view. Go to the Paulilles Recreational Park to spend the day in nature, a dynamite factory Dynamiterie de Paulilles located right on a beach or the Vinaigrerie la Guinelle to observe the pricess of making an organic vinegar.

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

 

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee.
