Northern Wanderer: a unique adventure for the unique times! Step on board the Oosterschelde for a month-long, COVID-proof journey. Make your own bubble with trainees and crew and enjoy carefree sailing. There will be everything you need on board to make sure you do not have to go into a harbour for a month if COVID doesn’t allow (hopefully that will not be the case, though!) On the list of places to visit are Scotland, Norway, Orkney, Shetland and maybe even the Faeroe Islands. The route depends on the weather. Nothing is certain, except the fact that you will arrive safely in Bremerhaven a month later. This journey is subject to regular booking conditions.
Bremerhaven is one of the most important German ports, playing a crucial role in Germany's trade. The town was founded in 1827, but settlements in the vicinity were settled as early as the 12th century. The main attractions for tourists are found at the Havenwelten and include the German Emigration Center and the German Maritime Museum, featuring the Hansekogge, a vintage cog dating from 1380, excavated in Bremen in 1962, and the historical harbour with a number of museum ships.

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.
What does it mean?
In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee.
